:  The Belmont Marauders Baseball Clinics was held for boys and girls ages 5  to 12 on five consecutive weekends at the Belmont High School Field House from 17 March to 14 April 2013 to help young ball players sharpen their baseball skills.  The sessions were held on Sunday morning, with the exception of Saturday 30/March.  The age groups were divided into the following age brackets: Ages 5-7 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am; Ages 8-9 from 9:45 am to 11:15 am; and Ages 10-12 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  This camp is now its third full decade of service to the youth of Belmont, and proceeds help to support the Marauder Baseball Program and defray the costs of the Annual Brendan Grant Memorial Weekend Baseball Tournament.  Each year youth ball players learn the fundamentals of the game with heavy emphasis on individual instruction and having fun. Together with several current and former college players, coaches and professional instructors, the Belmont High School coaches and players work with the players in each age group, which are further broken into smaller groups where they work with players of like size and ability and receive instruction from the coaches and varsity players. This is an important mentoring program in support of Belmont Baseball, and a great opportunity for all youngsters who love the sport of baseball.  If more information is needed or you have questions please contact Peter Noone or Julie Reilly @ 617-489-5300 or jreilly@averydooley.com
