:  Big smiles and record times were the theme at the Fourth Annual "Brendan's Home Run" 5K Race & Walk held in Belmont, MA on Father's Day 2005. Click here for the full story about this year's event.  Also, the times for the runners are now posted, first by overall standings, and second by age bracket.  Those who've participated in previous years (see the full story about last year's successful 2004 event) will tell you this is a great flat course for the runners and is good for fast times, which loops back on itself and allows the walkers to cheer on the runners.  The course is certified by the USA Track & Field Road Running Technical Council (Certification Code: MA03028RN). The story about the 2003 race/walk and the inaugural event in 2002 are also available.
